We collect information you provide directly (business details, contact information, pricing configuration), information collected through your use of WhatsApp Business Platform integrations (message content, contact details of your customers, media you or your customers send), and information collected automatically through your use of our dashboard (usage logs, device information).
We use collected information to operate the MintDesk platform on your behalf — including responding to enquiries, managing bookings and quotes, processing payments, and generating the reports and summaries the platform provides. We do not sell personal information.
Where you choose to import your existing WhatsApp conversation history during onboarding, this occurs only after your explicit consent. You may request deletion of this imported history at any time.
Some processing — including AI-based message handling — may occur outside South Africa. Where this occurs, it is carried out in accordance with the conditions for cross-border transfer set out in section 72 of POPIA.
